Features

• Maximum wearing comfort thanks to reduced pressure on the edges, a  non-irritative weave incorporated in the sensitive area behind the knee, and the moisture-regulating properties of the Train knitted fabric
• The viscoelastic insert has friction zones that are covered with nubs – they encompass typical pain areas and important receptor zones of the knee joint
• A patella corrective guide is imbedded in the insert zone
• Two steel wire stays located on the sides retain the shape of the knit
• Easier donning and doffing of the support based on the unique expansion zone in the lower leg area
• Silicone in the top band to prevent the A3 from sliding down

Indications

• Osteoarthritis and arthritis of the knee
• Irritation of soft tissue in the knee joint (chronic, post-traumatic/post-operative irritation, ligament insertion degeneration and tendomyopathy)
• Knee pain with functional instability due to muscular imbalance
• Patellar lateralization
• Recurring joint effusion (swelling)
• Relapse prevention

Mode of Action

• The anatomically contoured pad with friction zones assists with pain reduction
• Activates joint-stabilizing muscles and improves coordination thanks to the stimulation of mechanosensors in the skin and muscle-tendon junction
• An intermittent compression effect during movement promotes the reduction of edema, absorption of effusions, and accelerates the healing process.
